About Us

Hotdisc’s award-winning promotional service has been in existence since January 1999 and a monthly album has been produced ever since then for country music DJs and journalists. Hotdisc is open to any country act. Industry heavyweights such as Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Bellamy Brothers and Garth Brooks have all been on Hotdisc along with lesser known acts.

Our job is to generate airplay. Our TV and Radio shows and the Hotdisc Top 40 weekly chart have given Hotdisc a high profile in the industry and we have been recognised by many organisations including the CMA, the governing body of Country Music in Nashville, who have honoured Hotdisc and its founder, DJ Stuart Cameron, with a special award for outstanding services to country music.

While there are no guarantees of success (that is down to the industry professional DJs themselves) we have seen some fantastic achievements.

Chilli Gold, at the time an unknown act, was plucked from obscurity via Hotdisc by Robert Pratt, a world-renowned promoter and former manager of Don Williams, to support Billie Jo Spears on her final British tour.  Many clients have joined up with other writers to collaborate, and some have made appearances at major country music festivals and enjoy TV show bookings – all as a result of being on Hotdisc.

Hotdisc has been built on honesty and integrity, giving clients honest and constructive feedback from DJs to their music. As a result Hotdisc is proud to still be working with acts who were with us from the early days, including Dave Sheriff and David Frizzell who were on the very first edition of Hotdisc.

A selection of Hotdiscs through the years.

The idea for Hotdisc is simple – it is a cost-effective way of generating airplay for acts by offering them a service which is not only valuable, but gives clients huge benefits for a fraction of the cost of doing it themselves.

The monthly album is sent to DJs all over Europe and beyond who supply feedback for clients.  Acts can concentrate on their music and leave everything else to us.

Hotdisc has become the industry leader by helping not just semi-pro acts but big names and major labels such as RCA, Curb, Universal, Columbia and Capitol, who all have used Hotdisc.

Hotdisc has its own syndicated TV and Radio shows showcasing the Hotdisc Top 40 chart, compiled by the DJs themselves on merit, and all clients benefit from a service which is professional and high profile and with the chart being published in Country Music People alongside the Billboard Country Chart, it gives Hotdisc huge credibility. The monthly Hotdisc TV show was on Sky TV for a while and is now available direct from our website and YouTube channel worldwide.
