All About The RUSH RELEASED Promo CD
Rush Released is the name for our
promotional CD service. We look forward to working with some of the greatest names in country music as well as
the up and coming and established independent acts from all over the world. Our
key area is Europe although we do extend
into other territories such as Australia.
Rush Released is distributed to a massive list of DJs, journalists, magazines, booking agents and other key people
in the business.
Every client receives copies of the CD
with their track on it, as well as gaining feedback on how their track is doing in terms of airplay and reaction;
We provide our clients with the most professional marketing tool in Europe. As well as
featuring new tracks
on the CD, there are often soundbites with
acts talking about their current song, which is particularly
attractive to radio DJs for use on their shows.
There is no extra charge for this and we
encourage every act on Hotdisc to take the
time to do this. There are also occasional
extra features including interviews and
exclusive cuts not available anywhere else.
The Rush Released sleeve features full
writer and publishing details, direct contacts of all acts, and timings with intro and ending information for DJs
making it extremely user-friendly. We also provide DJs with a complete A-Z of every track on every Rush Released
CD to help them locate music quickly from past editions.
The deadline for each issue is the
20th of the month. What about cost?

The Hotdisc Top 30 Radio Show is syndicated
around the world every week on a number of
radio stations, but in 2016 we now have a
one hour TV show on Sky TV which airs across
the UK three times a week on Channel 389 and
also on FreeSat 516 and FreeView HD 87. Every song which makes it
into the Hotdisc Top 20 will feature for
FREE on the TV show, which adds incredible
value to the overall promotion. Watch
the latest editions
here. Transmission times on Sky TV are
Sundays (2pm), Thursdays (4pm) and Friday
nights-into-Saturday mornings (1am). Each
show is also available to view online at our
website and facebook page.

Any act wishing to
book one of our six
Premier slots to be included in the first six positions on the running order of the disc can benefit from extras including their colour photo on the front of the sleeve, their information highlighted in larger type on the

for the month of the issue.
The charge for this Premier service is
just £50 GB Pounds / $100 US Dollars extra and there are six

Award Winning Service
The man behind Rush Released, Stuart Cameron,
has been working in country music for over 35 years. He
was awarded the prestigious "Services To Country Music"
accolade at the UK RADIO COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS.
In February 2002 he won the Lone Star
State Country Music Association award which recognises his contribution made to independent music.
The ICMAG (Independent Country Music Association
of Germany) honoured him with the "Best Promoter" Award in their poll
and in 2003 he was recognised for "International
outstanding services to Country Music" by the prestigious CMA (Country Music Association) based in Nashville.
We are committed to an exceptional customer
relations service. We aim to reply to all correspondence within 24 hours but if you do not receive a reply within
a few days, please re-send as it is likely your e mail will not have got through. We can be contacted at
email@example.com - e mail is terrific but not without its faults
and with so many filters available on
accounts many legitimate e mails don't reach
their destination. We take customer relations seriously and try and keep
our overseas clients in particular up to date with what is going on. Please feel free to call us if the
internet is letting you down. Our details
are on the Contact page.
Being based in Europe means that we can
offer the best possible coverage in this market. We do not cover the USA; and because we ship direct from Europe
to Europe our mailing costs are cheaper and therefore our prices
are very competitive. In fact while costs
have soared we have kept our prices exactly
the same for the last 10 years!
It is also
important to note that while we generate
airplay for our clients we are NOT a royalty
collecting agent. The PRS in the UK are
responsible for collecting royalties on our
clients' behalf. Sadly their efforts
in doing so are gravely inadequate, and
despite Hotdisc appealing to PRS and writing
articles in the media to try and get their
system changed, they insist that their
ludicrous system of not paying for airplay
on 29 days in a month period or bothering
with many smaller stations, is the right
way. We strongly disagree and will continue
to strongly challenge their methods. In the
meantime we are pleased to offer a service
which is cost-effective for our clients,
which generates airplay for them and gives
them exposure they would not normally get
from our comprehensive list of DJs in
Don't Just Take Our Word!
"I have the
most respect for Hotdisc and its Top 40
chart and the way it is compiled. It
summarises the opinions of a large group of
industry people who listen to a great deal
of country music and can be expected to be
reasonable and impartial judges. I give far
more credibility to Hotdisc and the success
it can bring." Chris Smith, Country Music
took advantage of promotion through Hotdisc
and topped the Hotdisc chart for several
weeks. Clint tells me that this has resulted
in a wave of interest and some lucrative
bookings and that the first pressing of his
album has completely sold out!"
David Allan, Former Presenter of BBCTV &
BBC Radio 2 Country Shows.
One of the reasons
for our success is that we saturate the European market, giving our clients more potential airplay for a fraction
of the cost of doing it themselves, as well as saving them time by doing all the administration for them and providing
an unrivalled feedback service.
How to get Rush Released
CD or Digital Edition
A lot of effort is made to provide each client with an exceptionally professional service
which they will benefit from.
If you are a bona fide person working in the country music industry and would like to receive Rush Released please
contact us and we will send you full details and a free sampler. Each edition is available to download on the 1st
of each month. All we ask is for you to send the reaction sheet
back to us to pass on to our clients.
We also have Special Packages to mail out your albums for you to the top people on our
mailing list. We ship these for you at £1.50 per copy (in plastic wallets) or £2.00 in jewel boxes
and we will gather reaction for you from our DJs and media people.
Hotdisc chart is compiled from DJs and industry professionals' ratings of songs currently being promoted on the
Rush Released CD. They are not airplay charts, as airplay charts cannot work in Europe
because there are no terrestrial
country stations. The hundreds of country
programmes on air which we service are likely to play a particular song only twice at
most in a three month period, therefore rendering airplay charts insignificant in Europe. It works well in America
where there are plenty of non-stop country stations but it
does not work here.
Any Airplay Chart you may see claiming to
provide this service is bogus and Hotdisc
does not condone these charts at all. They
are misleading at best for the reasons
Hotdisc charts are put together weekly using ratings supplied by DJs who give scores to every song on
the last three months' editions of Rush Released. The scores are averaged out per week to give
an accurate guide to the songs which are being championed by the industry. The aim is to showcase the songs
which the industry professionals are
flagging up as quality songs. This is a very useful exercise
as it is free of politics, hype and rigging and done
solely on merit!
We think we
have covered everything here, but if not,
please do not hesitate and ask. We will be
delighted to answer any questions you have.
